Vacant houses are such a headache!!  
  • Code Compliance is always after you
  • You have to pay someone to cut the grass
  • People are getting into the house and you have to board it up
  • You are paying taxes for NOTHING, nobody gets the benefit of owning an empty house

There are really 2 choices when dealing with an empty home:
  1. Fix it up
  2. SELL IT
If you have the cash to get it up and running, do it. You can rent it, move into it, or have a relative live there and keep it up. No matter what you do with it, take care of it and get some enjoyment out of it.
